Tumeric Nut Milk

DELICIOUS!  I drink to effectively relieve joint and back pain and stimulate circulation.

Medicinal Properties*

Tumeric:  anti-inflammatory, antioxidant
Ginger:  relieves nausea, anti-inflammatory, stimulates circulation
Cinnamon:  anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, fights bacteria
Salt:  an electrolyte, stimulates digestion and muscle contraction
Almond:  antioxidant, high in Vita E, contains healthy magnesium, may lower blood sugar/cholesterol
Coconut:  antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial, anti-parasitic
Nutmeg:  antibacterial, aids digestion, relaxes muscles, considered an aphrodisiac
Honey: antioxidant, antibacterial

Folkloric Properties

Tumeric:  purification, protection
Ginger:  love, money, success, power
Cinnamon:  healing, protection, spirituality, love/lust, success, psychic power
Salt:  purification, protection
Almond:  money, prosperity, wisdom
Coconut:  purification, protection, chastity
Nutmeg:  luck, money, health, fidelity
Honeysweetens the outcome, a binder


3 teaspoons of Ground Tumeric Root
1 1/2 teaspoons Ground Ginger Root
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
4 Cups Coconut or Almond Milk (or any milk of your choice)
2 Tablespoons of Honey (or per your sweet tooth)
Sprinkle of Ground Nutmeg

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients (except Nutmeg) and blend well. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat.

Sprinkle with Nutmeg and serve. Also delicious cold.
